Description

Meet Tikkiwallah’s modern take on the yaam bag. Featuring striped cotton woven on a back strap loom by Khun Jansiri and the Kariang weavers in Mae Sam, Thailand. Chic as a purse and carryall. Or hang it on a wall and use it to hold towels and other textiles. The yaam bag has a long history of use in Southeast Asia. Its origins are typically attributed to Kariang or Karen mountain communities.

100% handwoven cotton and hand sewn in Mae Sam, Thailand.

**Please note each product is handmade in artisan home-workshops or village collectives. Additionally, natural fibers and natural dyes behave differently from batch to batch.
