Description
A contrasting braid gives this handsome tote a modern beach vibe. Produced in collaboration with Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre (TAEC) in Luang Prabang, Laos.
Piet is a natural eco-friendly jungle vine from northern Laos. The vine is soaked and softened and feels comfortable against the skin. Traditionally, Khummu communities used piet to make straps, belts and bags for carrying tools, foraging and storage.
Handmade by Mrs. Ven in Ban Maang, Laos.
16 x 18 inches
**Please note: Each product is handmade in artisan home-workshops or village collectives. Additionally, natural fibers and natural dyes behave differently from batch to batch. Although, we make every effort to maintain consistency, minor variations may occur. This is what makes handmade products unique and truly one-of-a-kind.
