Description
A beautiful example of craft innovation, the blending of traditional and modern aesthetics. The motifs on this batik pillow are rooted in traditional Hmong symbols. However, the scale has been exaggerated. And, instead of drawing the pattern, the maker used a contemporary stamping technique. Hemp has a rich patina that evolves and develops a soft, luxurious hand feel over time. Lined with soft cotton. Hidden zipper closure. Insert not included.
Handwoven hemp from Hmong communities in Laos and Vietnam.
MADE TO ORDER. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Custom sizes available. Option to replace zipper with button closure, for additional cost. Email us for additional information.
**Please note: Each product is handmade in artisan home-workshops or village collectives. Additionally, natural fibers and natural dyes behave differently from batch to batch. Although, we make every effort to maintain consistency, minor variations may occur. This is what makes handmade products unique and truly one-of-a-kind.
